Barnet score in the 97th and 99th minutes of normal time and then promptly lose on pens.

There's a Champs League qualifier on BBC Scotland atm. Hibs are drawing 1-1 with the Lionesses, but still behind on aggregate.

I can't say that this worries me. In fact, I reckon it's good. Penalty takers have too many advantages already, allowed to hop, skip, jump and pirouette on the way to the spot while keepers can't move an inch. So taking away the second bite of the cherry seems reasonable.
I thought goalkeepers could move along the goal line just not forward, unless thats changed now.
You can do that in Subbuteo so it must be right. Absolutely best way to save a pen in that game, hold the goal down and waggle your keeper left and right like crazy, always puts the other player off scoring.

It's so favour of the taker these days that i'm waiting for them to bring in a rule where the keeper has to be sat down when it's taken.

I always used to say that as soon the the ref blows his whistle, the GK should be allowed to charge forward, as that would soften the cough of the fanny danglers, hop merchants, false starters, sidewinders and other assorted thimble ringers.

Impressive result by "Rangers".

They now play Viktoria Plzeň in the third qualifying round, then either Benfica or Nice if they get through that.

Also have to say that their new away strip is quite smart, if red, white and blue kits are your thing.

From a pic on the BBC website, I did wonder who England were playing last night.

Bit shocked that their away kit isn't orange. What with their love of Trump.

Over in Hong Kong, Spurs beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first North London derby played outside the UK. I wonder when and where the first Second City derby outside the UK will take place.

Not sure Leeds vs Guiseley would be particularly attractive to the overseas market.
