2-0
Lucky as fook to get that pen wiped off…looked as nailed on a handball as you’ll see

C4 commentators were saying he moved his body not his arm, so the ref was fooled into thinking he'd moved the arm?! Sounded like nonsense to me.

He had his arms close to his body but he waved his arm out as the ball headed towards him….pundits bias was utter nonsense

Excellent first half from England after getting let off with what looked a blatant pen early on.

Silly mistake has allowed Spain back into it, should be a good second half.

Only watched the last 40 minutes of the England game. Elliot Anderson was our standout player imo. Hinshelwood struggled defensively at left back which is no great surprise but all balls into the area in the air were easily dealt with.

Weirdly in the older Villa matches section rather then other football. Noticed it yesterday.

Lyon demoted to Ligue 2. Not sure if this means they're banned from Europe too, which would presumably means Palace are eligible to take part?

Switzerland women’s national team (ranked 23rd in the world) lost 7-1 in a friendly match against Luzern’s U15 boys team. https://www.goal.com/en/lists/alisha-lehmann-switzerland-euro-2025-hosts-thrashed-under-15-team/blt569915d6561b9a2a

Happened to the US team as well a few years back.  Not sure why they even play these games, seems to be no upside.

Harvey Elliot scores for Eng u21s. And they lead 1-0. Maatsen hasn’t been too involved apart from one rasping shot which the keeper did well to stop.

Really good finish for their equaliser, shocking defending from Cresswell.
