Historical references.
No menu is complete without them!

Not good enough, Lou, I'm sorry.

I'll have a Martini Laursen as an apéritif, followed by a Mellberger.

It’s a problem now apparently. Wasn’t last season I don’t think.  But is now.

Yep. You'd expect fourth place in the Premier League to be roughly where you'd source a Europa League finalist from. Less so 15th and 17th, mind.

Freiburg fans seem to think that they can be very compact defensively. Main worry is a lack of pace from players like Höfler and Eggestein. However, that's less of an issue against us, as we don't have much pace.

Makes you wonder if it isn't going well, maybe get Maatsen and Sancho involved.

What a joyless pleasure piece of shit article.
Why does having the biggest revenue mean you should ‘expect’ to win and therefore it’s a diminished competition.

If that were the case every single game would be reduced to the wealthiest club should win.

God forbid a Wigan Athletic type team ever winning the FA cup.

We do have an advantage over every other club in the competition. It doesn't devalue the competition though and it isn't unfair.

I'd say it's getting more attention now as it's a second year of English dominance, to the degree that no non English side has knocked out an English side in either the Conference or Europa as it stands.
