Freiburg are classed as home and play in Red so white kits for us for the final.

I know its not really important  that much but shouldnt we deemed the home team based on being the top side in group phase

Wish we were playing in our home top

It was based on which bracket we were drawn in. Upper/Left bracket gets nominal home (and in theory was Lyon who finished above us but that was coincidental) and Lower/Right bracket was away.

But white kits in a European Final is currently 100% record. We might even do a "special" for the final to be closer to the 82 one as adidas already have the design for the "street" collection.

Good point

It's a European final. We're playing a German team. We're in white...

Apparently Blosers are advising each other to book rooms in any hotel in Istanbul that doesn't ask to pay upfront/is refundable close to the final so that prices are ramped-up for the Vile.

Haha, no they're not!

To do that, you'd have to be the saddest, most embittered freak to ever- oh.

€7m prize money added last night.

£6.1m for the Reform voters. If we can win it then another £5.2m (€6m).

€35m in total (so far).

I'm thrilled we got to the final, just a shame it will be cancelled due to the 'Great Hantavirus Outbreak of 2026'.

Coefficients are interesting. We've just gone 19th whilst carrying the two scratch seasons. We'll take Tottenham if we win the final with two points for the win. Do you get any extra for actually winning the tournament?

Last four seasons, with one scratch year, we're twelfth. Last three starting with Conference League, we're sixth. Last two starting with Champions League, we're fifth, behind Arsenal, PSG, Bayern and Barca.

Pretty, pretty good.

I think we get 1 point extra if we win it, plus 1 for a draw and pens win or 2 for the full win. But being 12th means we get a shit load more money from the CL. Also not that pots make any difference now but pot 2 this year.

The Portugese league benefit if we win Europa at the moment. Currently Benfica but they are level with Sporting level on points and two matches left. But they are both high enough on Coefficients that whoever finishes second get the boost.

I think that's only if we finish top four. Otherwise the extra place goes to the sixth place English team.

They haven't mentioned that at all weirdly. I thought they might have covered that if it made a change.

I suppose the way to view it is 5th place in the EPL is “England’s place” so if the team in 5th also qualifies by another route I.e us winning the UEL then it would go to sixth in the EPL. If we finish 4th and win the UEL then the rebalancing takes place and Portugal benefit.

I want us to finish 4th anyway to eliminate England possibly having 6 clubs in the CL. No one league should have that many spots. Even 5 is too many.
