Are Freiburg any good?

Probably akin to playing a Burnley, or a Championship play-off side.

If we lose, it would be a bigger upset than Olympiakos I'd say.

We're allowed a weekend off from worrying about the gods. They told me via a radio broadcast I heard through the air fryer.

Freiburg are 7th, miles behind 6th so no, they aren't very good. If we perform we'll win as we are far better than them. They'll be well up for it though as they've never won a major trophy.

Does anyone on here actually follow the Bundesliga and can tell us about Freiburg other than just saying they’re shit?

They're very open, according to somebody on a podcast who watches European football. Said it'd be a basketball match, which would suit us.

Looked on Wikipedia and didnt know any of their players.

Think generally seem as a friendly and well liked team in Germany. Maybe akin to Fulham.

Their goalkeeper is very highly rated and is supposedly off to a much bigger club in the summer (AC Milan and Atletico have both been linked).

Mostly German players, a mix of early 20s who will be looking to step up to a higher level and three or four in their thirties who've done Dortmund / Wolfsburg etc and playing out the last few years in the Bundesliga.

Two club legends in Christian Gunter (not to be confused with the Welsh one) who's been there for 15 years now and is still their captain and Vincenzo Grifo who is old, but still probably their best attacker.

Johan Mamzambi looked very lively and a proper danger from twenty yards. Cannot give him the space that Braga did.

To prove your point on Manzambi.

Although wasn't that the space left because they were at 10 men? (Or you talking about the first leg?)
