Cheers. A tad disappointing.

Freiburg are classed as home and play in Red so white kits for us for the final.

How is that decided?

We’ll see but I don’t think that right. Freiburg are listed first as they were top half of the draw. I suspect there will be a coin toss for kits.

Villa playing in white, against a German team in red, in a European Final in May... sounds good to me.

Not forgetting our captains name begins with an M, and our main strikers name with a W.

Nope. The winner of semi-final 1 is the "home" team. We will be in away kits.

Anyway. Freiburg currently 7th, which would be a Conference League spot, with no chance of 6th.

Two games to go, Freiburg 44 points, Frankfurt 43, Augsburg 40.

Do we think they're likely to try to win to secure European football before they play us or will they be putting in Villa vs Tottenham type efforts?

It's a cup final - they should be busting their balls to beat us.

I don't doubt that. I meant will they bother in their remaining Bundesliga matches.

We won't after this Sunday if we get the result, others go our way. I feel sorry for the fans against Liverpool as it will go the same way as Tottenham in terms of playing squad.

The UEFA ticket allocation has been finalised, and Aston Villa have received a limited General Admission allocation of 10,758 seats, which includes disabled and easy access areas, and some with a restricted view.

Last time they played an English side in Europe (March 2024), West Ham won 5-0.
