So we have a snip under 1,700 for the first leg. I hope we reduce their VP allocation too.

Why? 1700 is the UEFA agreed 5% allocation as Forests capacity is 34k. We’ll no doubt return the favour and give them 2100 which is 5% of ours.

They know exactly why they have done it reducing the away allocation from every match at their ground, so we should do the same.

Do we know how many are in the second pot ?

Well there’s probably 450 in Pot 1 (the Go Ahead Eagles mob) so I’m guessing at another 500 - 750 or so in Pot 2 so about 1200 maybe more. But this is pure guesswork Ls.
Thanks. I'm optimistic that I'll be alright in pot 2 - it doesn't mention "subject to availability" until pot 3.

Oh you’ll be fine in pot 2 Ls. As you correctly state “subject to availability” doesn’t come in until Pot 3.

There's only 200 that have the full card for all the European aways that can hit pot 1 (appreciate its only this season, but you can't be in this seasons without the rest etc). Should be a good 800 for the 3rd pot.

That’s not how it works. It’s got nothing to do with what they usually give you in the PL or domestic cups.

This is as far as I have ever gone in terms of risking the ire of the footballing gods but...  Given the amount of flight cancellations being announced I think I'm also going to look at cancellable flights and cross my fingers that we get past Forest.

In case anyone else finds it useful, here's a list of flights I compiled from BHX, EMA and LTN.  Outbound Monday to Wednesday, return Thursday to Saturday.  All prices are what Google Flights returned for one way and won't be what you'll pay for cancellable, return etc.

Outbound from LHR, LGW and STN.  There aren't any from LCY.

Inbound.

Allow about 2 hours to transfer from SAW to Taksim which is closer to the stadium.

* I have used AI to compile this and whilst I have made reasonable checks,  use at your own risk :)

We were always going to give each other the 5%.

With Turkish Airlines it’s only about £60 extra to have free cancellation.
