We're up against 4th in the Portuguese league, 8th in the Bundesliga and 16th in the Premier League. We have to be confident in this now.
I won’t be too confident after that bloody debacle at Wembley last year. Fingers crossed we perform this time around.

BBC must have had this one ready just in case. Although the title doesn't work when you see choice one.

A tie against a relegation threatened side for a place in a European final, you'd take that every day of the week.

We never win at the City Ground so it's all on how well we play in the return leg as I imagine the tie will be in the balance at half time.

We win there more often than they win at VP. Last time they won at VP Collymore was playing for them.

Unpleasant as it is, feels like a decent result or two for Spurs wouldn't be a bad thing.

Let's have Forest sitting in the bottom three in a couple of weeks, panicking and worried about resting players for their league games.
Forest need to get their points on the board in their next two games, regardless of Spurs’ results on those match days, as their last 4 fixtures look very challenging.

So you can have your cake and eat it.

I like the fact that we are playing Forest. They will still have an eye on staying up. This won’t be their priority. By the time we play them I hope we have one firm foot in the CL via the league and so we can put everything into winning the Europa.

They're away at Chelsea in between. We are at home to Tottenham.

If we can beat Sunderland and Fulham it will be very difficult for whoever is in 6th to catch us. We need to handle our own business.

Aston Villa will charge fans Category 2 prices for the Europa League semi-final against Nottingham Forest, effectively lowering ticket prices compared to tonight's quarter-final. Should be an electric atmosphere for that second leg.

Francesco Calvo listened to backlash and concerns from fans about the decision to raise ticket prices for tonight's Europa League quarter-final and has decided to charge Category 2 prices for the semi-final as a result.

Just a (chilling) reminder that this could easily have been Crystal Palace.
