The Jan Bednarek?

Four appearances for us, starting with coming off the bench to replace  Ludwig Augustinsson. Oh how I miss those days.

He has a €60m buyout clause at Porto. We can but dream.

Forest / Porto players who would miss the first-leg of their semi-final if they get booked tomorrow.

Quote
Forest: Morato, Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White, Ryan Yates, Igor Jesus.

Porto: Jan Bednarek, Zaidu, Alberto Costa, Dominik Prpic, Pablo Rosario, Rodrigo Mora, William Gomes, Gabriel Veiga.

Any of ours?

Morgan Rogers, John McGinn, Matty Cash, Lucas Digne and Victor Lindelof would miss a potential Europa League semi-final first leg if they receive a booking on Thursday night.

^^ Perhaps we should limit their game time as much as possible then. Could we do without all of them?

Maatsen for Digne, Konsa back in, Buendia for Rogers? I worry every time we take SJM off for a sub, never mind leave him out altogether. Rowe’s performance last week makes it a big call to weaken our right side too much.

If Rogers doesn't start that's a surefire sign Unai thinks the tie is done

Could do with a goal all the same. Think he starts for that reason alone. Buendia and Watkins will almost certainly start.

How's Ludwig these days? His Villa symphony was a bit flat.

Just had an email from UEFA stating I had been unsuccessful in the EL final ballot

Has anyone been lucky in this ballot???

Not me either.

Emery will start strong, look to put the tie out of sight then make subs with the game won.

I could have sworn I read on here somewhere,  that there’s a reset for semi final ? And at that point it’s three successive yellows that get a ban, meaning yellows won’t get you suspended for the final ?

I suppose I could have also dreamt it.

Yes, if they avoid cards tonight it's a clean slate from the semis.

Edit to add: should we get there, which we won't. With apologies to the gods.

If they get booked and we get knocked out do they miss our next European game if we ever qualify again?

Probably from me. One section of the rules has yellow card suspensions lifted for the "next phase" but I think that is just from play-offs into League. However the cards are reset so no one misses a final on cards now unless it is a red.
