I doubt very much that the world's supply of aviation fuel will dry up in the next seven weeks.

We are stopping in the old town, any recomendations on bars typically used by away fans?

If you want the main Villa crowd it's usually centred on an Irish pub.

Currently looks to be Freiberg in one semi and us in the other with the other matches being in the balance.

The win last night put us up to 22nd in the table one win behind Manure. If we crapped out now, we would be starting next seasons tables below Spurs but above Chelsea and could be 13th-15th in the table. Even if we went onto win it we don't gain many more points and will probably top of pot 2 (not that pots mean much in these competitions any more).

Anyone know where things are with yellow cards?

Does two yellows miss the following match all the way up until the final?

Assuming we do the second leg job successfully, that feels like it'll probably bite us at some point.

Yep.

Exceptionally, all yellow cards and pending yellow-card suspensions expire on completion of the play-offs. They are not carried forward to the league phase. In addition, all yellow cards expire on completion of the quarter-finals. They are not carried forward to the semi-finals.

It is also three yellows for a suspension so no one can miss the final now for yellows.

Quite right. I know my brand leans into DIY but I have contacts due to the tromboning work.

Happy days. And their guy (Lucumi?) is out of the next match I think the commentary said.

Tromboning? Is that a euphemism? And if so who?

I'm not sure if he does. He definitely has had three yellow cards but there is also this

Quote
Exceptionally, after the completion of every two rounds in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League and/or UEFA Europa League and/or UEFA Conference League) in which a player was registered on a club’s list and eligible to play, the number of yellow cards that player received that did not result in a yellow-card suspension is reduced by one;

Which seems to indicate if you go two games without picking up a yellow, you drop down one. His first yellow card was in the opening match against us so in theory that should have been wiped out for suspension purposes.

Edit: Although that doesn't track with Anderson who had three games without a yellow and still got one a suspension so it might not be gameweeks but actual rounds.
