Tickets will be difficult to get if we get Celta Vigo, as apparently only a 600 allocation, due to stadium work'
Is it me or do Spanish teams seem to use this excuse to reduce away capacity quite a lot ?

Potential draws.

Celta/Lille v Lyon/Villa
Forest/Panathinaikos v Midtjylland/Real Betis
Ferencvaros/Stuttgart v Porto/Braga
Genk/Bologna v Freiburg/Roma

Draws to be made at 1200 (1300CET) tomorrow and will also put the other teams into brackets.

Current brackets consist of
Silver
Ferencvaros, Panathinakos, Genk, Celta

Orange
Stuttgart, Forest, Bologna, Lille.

If we get through to the QF we will be playing the winners of the last set of matches so could be playing Bologna again (and would be the same side as Forest.)

If the top seeds (based on Group Stage position) win each match, these would be our potential opponents, (other possible opponents in brackets):

L16: Celta Vigo / Lille (none)
QF: Freiburg / Roma (Genk / Bologna)
SF: Midtjylland / Betis (Porto / Braga / Panathinaikos / Forest /Ferencvaros / Stuttgart)
F: Lyon (everybody else)

I'd rather be in the top half of the draw so we'd need to get Celta.

I don't think that's how it works. Every pair will be drawn separately. Getting Celta Vigo doesn't mean we would automatically be placed in an easier or more difficult half.

It does as they have already bracketed the play-off teams when they drew them last month. (and as per my post above.) However the other 6 teams in the top 8 will also need to be bracketed so no gurantee which half will be "easier". Is Betis, Porto and Roma easier then Midjytaland, Braga and Freiburg if they are the other silver and orange bracket lists?

So are we silver or orange?

Edit: they have only bracketed the eight lower ranked teams. What's the point of that?

Let's just beat everyone. We're Villa, there are no hard draws.
