There's no easy ties, anyone we play will be up for it as we have a massive target on our backs.

This is why the only advantage of 1st and 2nd is the Second leg ruling.

It’s still pretty random who’ll you’ll meet.

Look at Liverpool topping the CL with maximum points then boom out to PSG in the last 16.

I'm going to pass on the PAOK draw. Their striker has scored 12 in his last 18 and I don't fancy a El Kaabi / Olympiacos type situation.
Dont worry goldie PAOK are nowhere  near as good as olympiakos are.

They're literally one place and one point below them.

They are not very good an deither are olympiakos.  We would smash them now if we played them

Given the 1st and 2nd place home 2nd leg thing, without jumping to any conclusions, does that mean we couldn't meet Lyon now until the final, should we and they get there?

Personally I'd prefer Red Star as they have the biggest ground so I'd stand most chance of getting a ticket.

How do we think they'll do tickets for away legs now? Will they likely organise criterias based european home/aways this season from this point on rather than it be based on last season?

Yes, we can’t play them until the final.

Yes it does mean that. The draw on the 27th will split the remaining 8 teams into each side and we wouldn't be able to play anyone from the other side of the bracket until a final either.

They do normally change the criteria to this seasons games once the Group stage is out of the way. So I’d expect the R16 away leg to be 4 aways and all homes , 3 aways etc etc

Wouldn't  mind Lille again. There was a good Aussie bar for watching the football on a huge screen for the night before and an old school Snobs style place over the way from it.

Cracking atmosphere inside the ground as well, one of the best actually
Although big Emi did try his best to get them going

I was a bit non plussed by Lille. Fantastic city centre with great bars restaurants and a lovely square. As for the match itself, the noise was such you weren’t going to make yourself heard so sit back and enjoy the match (not great as were shite on the night) and where we were seemed very distant from everything going on around us. Anyway wouldn’t object to going back but would prefer somewhere new.

Hoping to get Red Star ideally. Former European Cup winner and also probably weaker than the other 3 teams.

Lille would be dull, having played them recently, plus they were pretty good. Celta Vigo would at least offer a chance of revenge. Don't know too much about PAOK.

Talk of Duran moving to Lille. Just waiting for Mings to release him from his pocket.
