Silver side looks easier there.

I suspect it will depend on where Porto, Roma and Freiburg are drawn. Although Midjytalland, Braga and Betis are also tough teams.

PAOK v Celta

Lille v Red Star

We won't find out who we play until the end of Feb when our draw is made. Looking at the brackets, the "easier" one looks like the left one.
I suspect Lille or Celta then. Neither of those would be straightforward.

I don’t think Lille are anywhere near as strong as they were 2 years ago.

Belgrade is moody, would rather avoid having to go down there.

I was thinking about this. We’ve met loads of people from the Balkans on holidays to northern Greece and they have all been absolutely sound, great company, but I bet their hoolies have some seriously sinister characters involved.

Definitely a place to watch your back.

They didn't have "always scores against Villa" Giroud two years ago. Mental that we will probably have a tougher draw in the last sixteen of the Europa League than we did in the same stage of the Champions League.

What’s your beef?

I'd steak everything on us getting through the round.

Everywhere can be moody. Utrecht caused a load of issues in Glasgae last night, look at YB at VP. English fans tend to amongst the better behaved these days.

Celtic have Stuttgart so that's them out. Forest have Fenerbahçe.

We really could have done with a gentle last sixteen draw given our injury problems, no such luck.

All ifs and buts etc, but if we had finished 7th or 8th, we would most probably have had an easier last 16 - Genk, Dinamo Zagreb, Brann or Bologna

I'm going to pass on the PAOK draw. Their striker has scored 12 in his last 18 and I don't fancy a El Kaabi / Olympiacos type situation.
Dont worry goldie PAOK are nowhere  near as good as olympiakos are. Would be a good draw

They're literally one place and one point below them.
