I can’t remember where that squad list was posted with the B squad members highlighted.

Can somebody tell me who we can, and who we don’t have to, include in February’s 25-man squad from this list?

Martinez
Bizot

Cash
Garcia
Konsa
Mings
Torres
Digne
Maatsen
Lindelof

Onana
McGinn
Tielemans
Luiz
Elliott

Buendia
Rogers
Watkins
Guessand
Sancho
Bailey
Abraham

I’ve taken Kamara, Aloba, Bogarde and a young goalkeeper out. I’ve also included Hemmings because I don’t know if he’s been with us long enough for him not to take up a space.

Edit: found it, and edited accordingly. Hemmings, Bogarde and Aloba don’t have to be listed.

Am I right in thinking we can add Tammy, Bailey and Luiz?

We can change three players. I assume we're adding DL, Bailey and Tammy and removing Kamara, Malen and Elliott.

But depending on how management feel about the midfield issue maybe it's Barkley instead of Bailey?

We also have a squad of 21, not 25 due to the lack of players we've developed ourselves.

Of course. Cheers.

Unknown length outage?

Didn't they support African Car Reverser on their last European tour?
Unknown length outage are such a great band.
I personally loved their difficult second album entitled
No Ohm to go to.

Elliot removal might not be the shoo-in it was last week. I suppose it depends on how true the rumours of the OtB changes are.

I suppose so.

Who is dropping out instead then? Or which of Tammy, DL and Bailey isn't being added?

I suspect we will know for certain on Thursday. If Elliot is nowhere in sight on the pitch then he is out the squad. If he plays and plays well (or we have confirmation we can play him the rest of the season) then we might keep him in and either not add Bailey, replace Garcia or replace Guessand.

Of course we also need to know the official expected return date of Youri and McGinn. Like I suggested with Kamara, do you include them in the hope they might be fit for the Semi/Final matches or remove them for players who will play in the RO16/Quarters.

And finally we might also be buying /loaning in other players before Monday(?) like last season who might also be considered.

Assuming no more transfers or injuries it will come down to Elliott or Bailey. If the option is sorted it will be HE otherwise Bailey I reckon.

We need Bailey more than HE, IMO.

Agree - Bailey looked sharp on Sunday - Elliot did not in the games he has actually played in

While I agree Bailey looked sharp on Sunday, it's not really fair to judge Elliot off a couple of games at the start of the season when the whole team were playing like crap and couldn't score a goal.

Yeah, that's really harsh.

But, we probably have to. Unless you think Emery is suddenly going to start picking Elliott again between now and whenever we have to declare our squad for the knock-out stages.

I'd say he's just saying it's harsh to judge him on very few games and not that Emery should suddenly choose him. Elliot isn't playing for us again.
