Something I've not seen mentioned - that was the third favourites for the Europa League we flicked aside earlier

(behind us and Porto)

Would signing Aghehowa from Porto help our chances or just piss them off?

Probably both.

But I'd be surprised if we were planning to chuck £80m at a player this January.

Would be nice though.

Any way more urgent matter, is there any news on Ferenbahce tickets allocation and sale criteria?

Fenebache is a key one. If we can win there its almost guranteed  we could finish top 3. I know it might not be important  for mamy, but having 2nd game at villa park for all rounds is vital. We can beat anyone on our day at VP as we have shown. I do think having that 2nd leg vs olympiakos away was a disadvantage  for us.

Be a very hostile place to go like olympiakos  was so howpfulky we can ignore the noise and let our football do the talking

Top 3 doesn’t guarantee home second legs. Top 2 does.

Doesn't 3-4 give home second legs until the Semi-final?

Only up to and including quarter-final, you would definitely be away second leg in the semis.

If a top two team loses early on, does the team who beat them get their away leg first advantage?

Apart from this enjoy the trip!
I am now scared of my own shadow :'(

Saying Ferenbahace supporters will gather in Taksim square is a bit of a stretch unless they want to pitch a fight with Besiktas fans.

This is going to be the shittest away game going. 5 hours before over an hour drive, turnstiles 3 hours before. If you can't handle away supporters, you shouldn't be in the competition.
