Twat. I was going to add as much as the focus is on the key moment it’s shit like this, their penalty that gets glossed over time and again. Not just against us as much as it feels that way, but against everyone.

United fan here, you want to be a big club then you have to eat what happened to you and move on. Being a big club means you will have years in which u miss out by the smallest fractions. United had Cantona banned for a season, we miss out on title final day by 1 point. Same thing with the season Ferdinand was banned. Then u have QPR against City. As soon as QPR learn the other game is over and thus they are safe from relegation, they roll over and concede two goals in injury time, then celebrate with City fans - we lost that league on goal difference. Being a big club means shit happens and sometimes to you.
You wanna know who should be depressed, Forest fans. They spent most of the year in 3rd then fuck up royally their last 10 games. They will not be in a position for champions league again this decade.

If you guys had been in any way decent, then fair enough -you'd deserve the sympathy. But do you really think Newcastle deserve to miss out on champs league because another dickhead United goalkeeper decides to gift the opposition. You didn't create anything, you had no good moments. If it was reversed and we somehow gifted a toothless newcastle side a goal out of nothing, how would you feel missing out because of that? You didn't earn it at any moment on that pitch.
When the goal was disallowed, your manager should have called a bunch of the players to the sideline instead of jumping around like a mad kangaroo and told them, 'hold this'. 0-0 got u in the champs league. Instead y'all were too emotional and blew up. Anyway, with some good signings in the summer I 100% expect you to be up and around the places next year, maybe heartbreak maybe a trophy - that is what you get following a big club.
Cantona and Ferdinand were banned for obvious reasons, the referee didn't follow the right V AR protocol on Sunday, which would have been drilled into him by senior referees officials week in week out, which we have seen used every game

I saw a comment about the standard of refereeing in this country but I couldn't believe how bad some of the decisions in the Champions League were. I've come away from our campaign feeling like the refereeing there is worse.

Oh, fuck off, will you, you dreadful twat.

Short of the return of Footy-Vill, I can't think of anything anyone wants to hear less than this right now.

And for the record, that's another "thing about supporting a big club" - arrogance. So fuck off, and stay fucked off.

Maatsen's "kindly" reaction to his "foul" on Diallo took the biscuit. Ian, don't fucking check if he's been injured while looking guilty. We need more players like Martínez outfield who don't take any shit from opposition players trying it on.

Some of that is a false equivalency though.

Cantona and Ferdinand were correctly banned so there’s nothing to complain about there is there. Don’t assault a fan or miss a drug test.

And if you think back to the champions league final in 99, you were sh*t and got battered all game long, with Bayern hitting the woodwork at least twice. Then you scrapped a win at the death. In a similar way, we got battered on Sunday but legitimately scored against the run of play. The difference is, that our goal was incorrectly ruled out and we didn’t achieve something we could have.

First time I've seen the penalty 'foul'. Fucking hell.

He should've booked the cheating little twat for the rolling and fluttering hand.  Maatsen's concern is baffling.

Yeah same as luckily was out Sunday at a gig so missed the shitshow. As bad as any penalty ever given against us versus Man Utd. Their player blatantly cheated and feigned serious injury.
