whoever had the great idea to change the kit and play in black aswell?
The marketing department probably. Who'd want to buy one after this debacle?

Having this specific game last when we needed something from it guaranteed a disastrous outcome. And so it proved

Despite feeling cheated by a fucking incompetent official, the bottom line is we have not turned up again in a big game despite coming off the back of a great run of form and against a team having their worst season in years and years.

Olympiakos, Palace, ManUre. Three huge games, started terrified in all of them and got blown away in them all. This team doesn't have the minerals for it.

I think it's time to break up our 2018/20 spine. Not sure why so many are petrified of us selling on a few of them.

They've served us very well over the last five years but it is not a great look for many of them when in a month we serve up that rubbish today and also v Palace. These were crunch games for us compared to just easing to a 1-0 v Fulham.

Wood misses great chance.
Does he play for Utd?

No, he plays for Forest. Who we need to lose.

The ref blowing the whistle was a key decision, don't get me wrong. But it shouldn't gloss over how appalling we were today, right from the first minute.  We froze basically against the worst Man United team in living memory.

How many were cup semi finals, or crucial for champions league qualification?

Once again, Emery needs to be questioned about his management of important games. It happens time after time that he and the team play scared. I am not saying he needs to go or anything like that, but he is not infallible and he should be asked some difficult questions.

We were poor but we should've been 1-0 up and yet again a truly awful bit of officiating has completely fucked us. Everyone knows how VAR works, everyone knows that it's there to check incidents exactly like the one we saw but, for whatever reason, the ref has decided to blow up a second earlier than he needed to and make it impossible for VAR to do anything. It doesn't matter how poor we were up to that point, the ref has made an error which has probably cost us £60-70m and a place in the Champions League. Corrupt or Incompetent, I don't care which you think, but the ref has fucked us.
