I've never had a car, i've still left an horrendous footprint on the planet. As has everyone on here. We can, in off topic, debate about how crap it is that as a society we are so reliant on cars and other transport but in a lot of cases we have little choice.

Tomorrow as an exmple, I am going to a funeral. I've booked a taxi to get to the train station in town as I can't be doing with the bus before it, then a train, then i'll be picked up and go to someone's house. Then we'll drive to the crem, then drive to the wake, then i'll be dropped back at the station, train back and then most likely a taxi home for the same reason as getting one into town. That's all pretty crap for the enviroment but for me it's a necessity as the person was very important to me.

Cars, trains, planes, boats, buses etc are a necessary evil. Gambling as a whole is just evil. And I say that as someone that would have been classed as a fairly 'successful' gambler as I was well in profit.

I agree that gambling is far more of a problem than cars but I do think this is probably worth an Off Topic thread because cars are a solution to a problem that exists largely because of cars.

I'll be honest, I just wanted to argue about something to take my mind off the football. It didn't work. ☹️

Going back to the shirts: I hope the design is just some dullard's invention. That home shirt is the sort of thing a pub team buys when it's just starting out.

There are infinite combinations involving a claret shirt with blue sleeves, it's not rocket science and anything else can fuck off. I guess the idea would be to make the "iconic three stripes™" stand out and they can fuck off, too.

I don't mind the other two. Or the two-colour badge.

All it needed to be was the claret and blue version of the Arsenal template…pretty much everyone would have been happy with that.
