Aha, yes, you’re right, it was, so I’m still probably the only one who liked it!

I had one and the washing machine ate the collar - would be worth quite a lot now because the AVFC hadn't been embroidered on to it.

You're fucked if you wear that down the shops, will cause chaos at the self-service tills.

Yeah, it automatically charges you for Lynx and White Lightning.

If it's per kilo then I'm going to be pretty expensive.

Amongst my least favourite Villa shirts, but I'm generally not a fan of Hummel kits.

You're crazy, Hummel make the best kits.

Looking at it, the colours are all wrong, but it is still the kit. My first ever Villa shirt, which I got after much pleading for my 10th birthday.

My dad was too tight to buy me the shorts, but my cousin stepped in and gave me the money for them. My dad later contributed by turning them bloody pink in the wash.

I remember being chased off the golf course wearing it, and having to run through brambles and praying I didn't ruin it. And I lost the badge during kick-about in an Everton fan's back garden in the dark, and never got it back.

So that kit will always mean a lot to me.
