It'd look reet canny with a pair of Geordie Jeans, like.

Probably why it's being modelled by the one Newcastle player with an 80s bum fluff 'tache.  Adidas could do worse than offering Geordies a cap sleeve version.

That was the kit we were wearing when I fell in love with Villa. All versions are wonderful in my memory, before I was put on the righteous path of blue sleeves always and forever.

For me Adidas is over rated. With ours the claret has been far too dark - i also say to the.missus look how vibrant the older shirts are compared to these - and next seasons rumoured kit looks dreadful.

You couldn’t be more wrong about anything in your life. Our colours are Claret, not a lighter shade of claret or burgundy or any of the shades of claret we’ve had over the last 30 or 40 years. If you’re unsure what claret really looks like go and look at a bottle of Bordeaux wine. The colours are class.

Agreed, Adidas have finally got our blood-type correct unlike most previous sporting manufacturers.

The Denmark kit was a thing of beauty. Our away kit of the same design was just as lovely.

Me too - begged my mum & dad for the home kit for Christmas when I was 5 and the away for my 6th birthday.

Not that I’d countenance a non-claret & blue kit these days.

Looks like the adidas template on those mock up is right. Has there been an arsenal one leaked? They will have the same issue as us with the sleeves.

I thought I was the only one who loved those kits. Thinking back now, it was strange not having our badge, but as a ten year old completely obsessed with Villa, I thought they were cool. The claret, blue and yellow tracksuit top from that season was also worn to death.
