My God, that can't possibly be authentic, purely on the basis that nobody in high places at the club can possibly be that fucking stupid.

All perplexing gossip about us turns out to be true.

As a casual top it’s not too bad.

Only if you're a darts player.

Style wise, It looks like the sort of thing you’d see at TK Max with an invented Italian brand name.

That's an absolute disgrace.

I don't think TV's comment was meant as a jibe at ginger haired, or Scots people in general. More that Ian Wallace's lack of height may not have shown the Coventry kit in its best light.

Agreed. Thank you BV. My apologies to all Irish and Scottish brothers and sisters who might misinterpreted my comment. I’m sure a select few of you could model a brown kit well. Not many granted. Certainly not Alan Brazil or John Wark.

I feel there is some unrecognised whooshery going on here.

The label on that shirt says Climacool which is what they use on tennis etc gear. The football shirts use AEROREADY for fans and HEAT.RDY for player-issue or the pro kits.

Lots of the 2026 national tops have Climacool now.

I'm in the minority I know,  but I'm not averse to a change every few years.  Must be difficult to keep trying to come up with new variations of the same thing every single year.  In fact, it seems to me that more people are still wearing last season's home shirt to games than usual, because the change in design is so minimal it doesn't justify the outlay.

Arsenal manage to not fuck about with their kit too much:

https://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Arsenal/Arsenal.htm

I reckon that's 2 kits in the last 60 years that haven't been red body - white sleeves.  One was an anniversary kit, and the other had white top of arm - red underneath, so wasn't *too* far off

Yep, Arsenal don't piss about with a classic design.

I'm not speaking to Des, so can someone tell him he's going on The List, thanks.
