I
Brown?  Really?

I might be wrong on this but I think when William McGregor (or the Villa committee) put in an order for our first proper kits, our colours were described as "chocolate" and blue.  Possibly a nod to that chapter of our history?

We won our first FA Cup in blue/brown stripes.

That's my understanding too. Aside from that, chocolate brown and light blue is a pleasing colour combination.

That's beyond dreadful, and not because it doesn't have blue sleeves. The colours, collar, trim, and thick stripes on it are all wrong.

As a casual top it’s not too bad.

Colours can look different on a screen so not overly concerned with those

It’s probably better when a player models vs on a table it but it’s a little too Burnley for me. I don’t hate it. I certainly don’t love it.

Good point, that 70s Coventry away kit probably looked terrible until Ian Wallace modelled it.

Ian Wallace does very little to market that kit positively. Mind you, not sure anyone could.

That's an absolute disgrace.

I don't think TV's comment was meant as a jibe at ginger haired, or Scots people in general. More that Ian Wallace's lack of height may not have shown the Coventry kit in its best light.

Agreed. Thank you BV. My apologies to all Irish and Scottish brothers and sisters who might misinterpreted my comment. I’m sure a select few of you could model a brown kit well. Not many granted. Certainly not Alan Brazil or John Wark.

My God, that can't possibly be authentic, purely on the basis that nobody in high places at the club can possibly be that fucking stupid.
