When you look at the variety of kits a massive team like Barcelona has had over the years, all manner of designs, the same old same old can get a bit predictable or boring. Or that we shouldn’t be afraid of change. It’s not like haven’t had stripes in our past. Because if we don’t show some creativity now and again we will become Arsenal where every single new home it is a slight variation on exactly the same design.

Arsenal are quite right. It's not being afraid of change, it's respecting our club's traditions. Stripes on a home strip is repulsive.

But our first ever Aston Villa home kit was stripes.

Ive always liked the ‘classic’ look of the Arsenal top. Get a collar on our home kit now and again, about as radical as I get with the home kit.

Yes, before our traditions had been established. We play in claret shirts with blue sleeves.

A mock up. But I’d certainly buy that.

Don't mid it. Reminds me of the Trabzonspor kit.

Looks nice enough. I'd imagine the weird Villa fans that don't actually like Villa shirts might moan, though. You know, the Luke apologists.

I know, but I still don’t like them.

They look better than Everton’s awful Goodison pattern they had, but I think it looks weird just that bit in one place.

So nearly perfect. The badge and sponsor let it down

The badge is ok. It's just too big for my liking. Last year of the sponsor, what is a big brand and pays us a lot of money.

It's a bit fussy, but pretty nice.  White stripes look a bit odd.
