Wasn't great , but Spurs weren't really engaging . Could easily have been 0-2 down , Cash was struggling and the defence were bailed out by Martinez and some poor decisions from Son.
2nd half better and got the job done .
It's going to the last day as expected , win that and see what happens .
I must have gone to a different game

He does have a tendency to be a touch downbeat - keeper making a good save is “bailing out the defence”.

Only needing to make one expected save is "bailing out the defence". They had Kinsky making a finger tips last gasp stretch to keep Rogers out first half. We should have gone in 0-2 down.

Son makes a poor decision is saving our bacon. One of our attackers making a poor decision is us being poor.

Emi bailed out our defence, with the only save he made. Meanwhile Kinsky was their MOTM.

Was great to see Nas and Wes on the pitch fist pumping and shouting ‘this is our time’ in a boisterous manner.

In fairness Pau put in a very accomplished performance so I’m not surprised the focus is on the one save Emi had to make.

That 95th min goal conceded at C115y looks fatal

Yep. Club collapses into debt and FC Villains restarts in the Beezer Homes League.

If that happens, I wonder if BC Villain will change his user name to FC Villain.

Great result - we have done really well to compete so deep into so many competitions.

If we beat Man Utd and it doesnt happen then fair enough - it just wasnt our year.  No shame in Europa - at the start of the season I woudl have settled for that.

Big encouragment for me is our recruitment got markedly better as the season went on.  I think Uani and Monchi are adjusting their thinking - focusing on more physicality and I think thats done us well and hope we build on it

Pretty routine win against a poor Spurs side.  First goal was always going to be key and we were comfortable after that.  Thought it was a bit of a glimpse of what we could see next season with the likes of Maatsen and Onana both impressive.

Another good atmosphere tonight and only lost twice at home in all competitions this season.  Was listening to Unai Emery's post-match press conference and think it was Tom Ross of all people who pointed out that we've now had a record 32 wins this season.

On a side note, was surprised at how many empty seats there were in the Spurs end.

Oh and a nice tribute to Peter McParland before the game.

I'm awaiting Bronte to be having a go at Pau for allowing Odobert to have the shot.

Didn't see it - somebody else can do the ratings this evening

All credit to Unai Emery, two seasons out of three we have stormed home under him to nick European football. Would be a shame now if we didn't make CL football. 69 points would still be a great number to finish on.

All of them and huge big fat 10 out of ten for the run their on. What a great end to the season. It could have drifted away after the cup defeat. Fantastic effort to get us into the Champions league again.

I don’t know about Bronte, but those watching closely would have noticed Torres both covering his man and pointing very clearly that Odobert’s run needed to be covered - Konsa didn’t do that, but Emi made the save.

It was, in reflection, a totally professional performance. We’ve been conditioned to expect us to drop the ball at the vital moment and I find myself watching the game in that mindset, but in retrospect it was a very controlled, composed performance and when we started going through the gears, Spurs were easily brushed aside. All we can do is deliver the same next week and see where it takes us but the run we’ve been on in this final third of the season and our home record shouldn’t be forgotten.

Critisised Maatson in the past but he was good today as was Asensio. Rogers is struggling in that position it just doesn't suit his game at all. Cash struggled in the first half but in his defence he didn't have the support on the right as Maatson did on the left. It is amazing that we are still in contention for top five with all the injury trauma throughout the season. Already looking forward to next season and who's in and who's out, trust the manager.
