I would not have guessed this so far, Spurs are a few days away from a final and a possible CL place, you would think there heads are elsewhere.

Villa need to make changes.

Rogers off for Bailey or Malen for me. Not because I don't rate him but him and Asensio don't work that well.

Disasi for Cash.  Konsa right back.  I reckon Son will go off soon anyway.

We desperately need to up the tempo. You'd be forgiven for thinking that we were the team taking it easy with a cup final in a few days

Awful first half. So pedestrian.
Konsa is painful to watch. Rogers wouldn’t get into a pub team.
Why we play with the shackles on is beyond me.

They could easily be two up.

We need to wake the fuck up and play like a team chasing champions league football

We’ve had a few moments, pretty much from brilliance from Asensio. But we’re playing exactly how Spurs would have wanted us too - slow build up allows them to organise and we’ve got no width really. Need to be much more purposeful- Kamara is having a really poor game.

We normally do much better in the second half these days, but I might go for a lucky stroll just in case.

That's one of the most frustrating halves of football I remember seeing.

We need to find extra gears here. So labored considering how much we have had the ball in good areas.

They seem to be dealing with our crosses too easily. Maybe Malen on for a bit more charging into the box energy. Garcia for Cash

Villa were always going to make hard work of this. There's a missed opportunity coming over the hill.
