Nah they’re shit. They’ve proven that week after week.

I agree but Southampton are even shitterer and we struggled to beat them at VP.

I think if we go at them early and get an early goal - the roof will come off VP and they will collectively shit their pants.
It could really help our GD if we put our minds to it.

And Newcastle are a lot better and got walloped by us. I would prefer to look at the results closer to now then results from back in December when were in the middle of playing 7 games in 22 days. My only concern is the missing Youri as his passing would destroy them and we were missing that against Bournemouth.

Australian Steve Bruce has somehow managed to get one over on Emery before. No doubt more by luck than judgement, but still.

Chicken-counting is off the table where Tottingham are concerned. As long as we get all three points, I'll be happy.

Normally with Maddison playing. The last time we played them in the FA Cup when they were just starting this run, we had a defence of Bogarde and Kamara and they only scored with a mistake/deflection. Obviously they do have Solanke playing this time which is why I would want Mings if fit but he is nursing a ham string so he might not be fully there. Son has just come back from injury as well.

Bailey or Malen should be able to stretch them though.

Exactly, a comfortable win by a couple of goals is all we need, with the same again at Old Trafford.

We need to make up 12 goals on Chelsea and 16 on Newcastle. That's what we should be aiming for.

Not exactly sure what's happened Spurs this season.it's been some collapse point wise compared to last season. Injuries can only be a part of it.

1-0 Saunders winner and our keeper to knock out their striker.

I'd take that over a frustrating 0-0 with Justin Edinburgh coming back from the grave to impossibly clear a Saunders lob off the line.

Nah they’re shit. They’ve proven that week after week. Their reserves aren’t suddenly going to elevate themselves to starting players. We need to do our job and put them to the sword. Which obviously also means take it seriously, prep well and be clinical. They get behind they’ll fall apart.

We’re absolutely sure it’ll be the reserves?

No chance of Skippy saying, around Thursday teatime: ‘Right, this is the match in which you’ll book your starting place in the Final with CL glory to be won…etc… etc…St Swithin’s Day…’

I mean, we’ll still ‘ave em, but there could be a shock first 2 minutes.

It was only March last year, they battered us at Villa Park and looks odds on to get top 4. They bottled the run in and Ange has never managed to turn it around there.

Battered us in second half at Spurs earlier this season too after a defensive apocalypse from us.
