Congratulations, Ollie. Gabby binned off to being what he was: an expensive waste of space in the worst Villa team of the twenty-first century.

Gabby didn't cost anything, he came throughyhe Academy.

He was one of the highest paid players in the last few years when he did nothing for Villa.

HT. Never in doubt, majestic half.

You always say that when we win by the skin of our teeth and I never know if you're messin' or not.

Ref letting them do the ‘chopping down all breakaways’ thing as per usual.  Iraola gone down in my estimation too with his elbow gestures after their player ran into Mings.  Their bench has been whining the whole game the twats.

He didn't play for free.

Are we dirty cvnts? We seemed to leave a lot of their players hurt on the deck.

1) I spent most of that half so bored that I went on to off topic to willfully make myself feel stupid reading Monty's posts.

2) Absolutely chuffed Gabby is no longer our top goalscorer.

3) I am really, really finding Alan Smith grating today.

The only real 'injury' was when their guy ran into Mings's elbow, complete accident.  They are serial floor dwellers to encourage the Referee to give them fouls.

Except being the record Premier League goalscorer for us until this afternoon ?

Other than Onana can't  really think of any real diggers we have. Barkley never plays. McGinn & Kamara on the odd occasion but probable below par for their position.

Well done Ollie a record he will have for some time and well done Villa, looking very good particularly towards the end of the half.

Objectively poor half. Lot of aimless balls

Ironic that our two most anonymous players that half combined to make the difference at h/t

Better side is leading
