Thought that was quite decent. Rogers not completely at it again, other than a couple of good moments, Asensio offering more. Watkins not getting a kick, but his hold up has been good. McGinn, Pau, Maatsen and Tielemans our best players.

Each defender has given the ball away when initially under no pressure. Very sloppy and should have cost us. Think we probably deserved a second goal for some of our approach play. Once again a ref that won't punish constant fouls by Fulham.

Tielemans has been outstanding. I hope this was our controlled half and we kill them off in the second.

Rogers looks tired and Asensio not really involved.

Comfortable. Atmosphere flat. Hardly any Fulham fans.

McGinn and You're bossing it

Watkins has looked way off again. We need a Newcastle performance from him second half. Really want him to get that record goal in front of the Holte End.

1st Half not overly impressive but coming from that semi final, much better, we need to turn this on 2nd half, show intent and show we want the CL, lets hope we turn this on second 45. More goals please Villa

Kamera's a very good defender it's when he tries to be constructive he gets himself in trouble.Very nervous about the second half.

There's some decent movement at times - especially from Asensio off the ball - but we're just lacking a bit of oomph. Feels like we've got another gear if we need it.

Tielemans and McGinn running the show so far.

Need to get Maatsen more into the match more, most of the attacks are coming from our right side, looking good going forward, but final pass has been poor.

Fulham seem like they are "on the beach". A bit frustrating that we didn't put the game beyond them in the first 45. Some very strong performances from Maatsen, McGinn and Tielemans. Need a bit more from the three further up the pitch.

Watkins needs to wake up a bit. A few decent balls through or across and he’s just off it. Tielemens and McGinn bossing it. More needed from Assensio and Rogers this half.

Why did their no.2 give the ref what appeared to be a low five after having a free kick awarded against him? He’d been lucky to not been booked just before for the challenge on McGinn.

He fouled McGinn, again, then gobbled off then offered his hand. Strange.
