Mings instead of Pau, Bailey instead of Asensio, Rogers in a proper position and we win 10-0. And that's a fact as no one can ever prove we wouldn't have.

I don’t understand Mings’ absence

Pau was awful for the goal Jimenez scored down there in October.

Baffling.

He was and awful for the goal last week. I’m not so confident of a win now.

Sigh

I hope he proves us massively wrong. If we don't win this game we can definitely forget CL.

Mings is comfortably the best defender at the club, should have enough in the rest of the team to beat Fulham without needing Pau to play some killer passes.

And get Rogers back in the middle.

I wonder if Mings is one of the players who joined in with Watkins furious moment and has pissed Unai off.  We are so much better with him in the side.

I don't think it really needs to be a conspiracy. The team that Emery sees as the best version of us has Torres in it.

It's not a position in the team that's up for grabs, and I'm pretty sure that while Emery is our manager he'll see Torres as our first-choice left sided centre back. And as a result he'll play more often than not.

Nas should rage sack him now rather than wait until full time.

Not a huge fan of that line up - mainly the attacking side.  I get he prefers Pau to Mings - I would have gone with Mings but I understand thats his preference.

Attacking side lacks pace and width  - and Rogers on the right isnt massively effective.  Marco has been noticeably poor since the southampton pen misses.

Unai still has a lot of credit in the bank. Fulham are decent but won't have the energy levels or desire that Palace had last week. Maybe this actually is a chance for that team to lift itself off the floor and put in a great performance. It will be interesting to see if some of them look as lethargic as they did last week. Could be a masterstroke could be lesson in stubbornness. We'll find out over the next couple of hours.

That's really disappointing. Torres and Asensio should not be starting, and I'd have been happy to see Rogers on the bench too. I must have imagined last Saturday.

I've felt for a while now that he doesn't rate Mings and he will go this summer.

Pleased Maatsen is starting and as he was one of the very few players, who came out with any credit last Saturday, there might have been a case for Bailey starting.
