We turned up in 1996 and steamrolled a good Leeds team. Most appearances since have been like this.

That Leeds team was mid-table fodder in fairness.

Get Pau and Digne off, put Mings and Maatsen on. Should have started that way. Unai has been an idiot for the past two games and it makes no sense.

Wash your fking mouth out.

Piss off

Emery is the best thing that’s happened to this club in half a century.  An idiot? Why don’t you piss off.

I'm not saying Torres should have started, I too wanted Mings in, but honestly some people just love to have their targets. Emi's made more mistakes than anyone in the backline this season (and that as a keeper!), but I guess he's a Real Man and not powderpuff so it's fine.
I’d imagine it is because we do not have an keeping option of Mings quality on the bench

It would be good to see Mings on in the 2nd half. After all, he never makes mistakes does he?

45 minutes or the season is practically over. If that doesn't motivate them to up the tempo nothing will.

The playing within ourselves has done my fucking head in this season but I could rationalise it in terms of having to play games on multiple fronts. But we’re out of the CL now, not going to qualify for it next season and this is a cup semi-final. Get into them, ffs.

I’ll be honest the bigger problem is our lack of zip in attack.

Semi-Final in 2015 was decent.

Yup, I've never been surer before a big game that we'd win.

At one time Watkins made a great run down their flank just outside the box then we pass it all the way back to our keeper, pure nonsense.

Well said.

And come on, some fool calling Emery an 'idiot'. Absolutely disgraceful.

Read the quote. The “past two games” he has been. Got the setup and mindset all wrong. Subbing in Disasi at RB is idiocy. Everyone knew that he would not be able to handle the pace on the wings.

Maatsen plays out of his head against Newcastle and sits on the bench for the next two matches. That is idiocy.

Clearly, Emery is not an idiot, but he has made what can be described as idiotic decisions these last two games.

Changes at half-time?  Lacking width with Cash going backwards as often as he can.  Asensio hasn't really been involved too much.
