Why did Pau let that ball go across him? Couldn’t he have just kicked it out for a corner?

I’m sure there are centre halves who throw their bodies  and everything on the line to get something on the ball.

Then there are those who watch don’t react .

Torres job is to defend, but apparently he can pass the ball brilliantly and that’s more important.

Even though we were pretty shit, If Disasi doesn't dive in then we're all on here saying what a good away point point that is.

I think pau expected emi to drop on it but he dived sideways instead. A bit worried about emi over the past few weeks.

Not liking Disasi at all really. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole in the summer. Some old up there. Still lots to play for.

Yep. The only times they get round the back of us and they score both times.

seems to me theres a big mentality problem we can't make that big step. in Paris they shit the bed in the last min, the home leg we didn't turn up till 2-0 down and tonight showed them way too much respect such a poor city team filled with average or over the hill players.

Concede with the first shot against us.
Concede in the last minute of injury time.

That’s a really, really shit habit to form.

Never seem to be able to get over the line when an advantage is within reach.

Last season was more of a case of Spurs throwing it away.

Whenever we have a chance to really go up, we don't take it. That Sheffield Utd home game to go top of the league before last Christmas was a good example. Zaniolo last minute header 1-1.

What was Martinez doing? He dived for no reason leaving an open goal for the back post winner.

For as long as I’ve known the villa we’ve had a mentally weak strain.

I don’t know why Unai shits himself so much at their ground. That’s a bang average Man City team and we treated them like gods.

This. After Saturday that team should have been sent out to put an intense first half in but the managers got it very wrong tonight. A quality right back is 100% has to be top of the list for summer. Stevie Wonder could see that late winner coming.

That's what, three at his near post now in the last few games? He's generally brilliant and it can't help having a comedy defence in front of him. It's certainly where I'd like to see some money spent in the summer.

That's a big blow tonight but it's certainly not over. But we realistically now need to win out to get a top 5 spot. It won't be easy. We now need to focus and make sure the week ends well and we have an FA Cup final to look forward to.
