I really, really resent the fact that we have scrimped and worked our knackers off and been really, really smart in how we rebuilt Aston Villa and these barcode wankers take the dirty Saudi money and basically sportswash their way into contention.

They can't just switch on to playing well though. Two five goal batterings in a row with Bournemouth and Arsenal next up, I'm hoping they'll be well down on confidence by the time we turn up.

If Palace had lost their last fifteen games I'd still expect them to turn into Peak Melchester Rovers when they play against us.

This is a very good point, its very difficult to get out of a losing habit. What was easy suddenly becomes difficult and you suspect the manager may start tinkering. I hope Bournemouth and Arsenal absolutely spank them and they turn up at Wembley thinking they'll just need to repeat earlier in the season.

The next 2 are better not lose ones.

However if we lose one we need to win the other.

Glad they have a seemingly tough match and we get an extra days rest despite last night's exertions

2.2

Well we got the extra days rest. Unlike their tough match

We have to beat their press and make a good start. It’s two sides in good form and we need to puncture their confidence. It’s higher pressure for us as they’re in a great position now.

I agree wholeheartedly.
