A game we MUST win.
It’s as simple as that.

I'm not sure it's an absolute must win. It depends on how the other results go. A draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

Newcastle are very good but they're not as good as PSG. I know they've got the wood on us, but we can do this.

They’re good at what they do, like stoke were good at what they did back in the olden days.  I’ve actually come around to their fans a bit recently.  But I cannot stand their team or deputy coach.

I feel that we have to win this one. The psychology coming off a rousing 2nd half vs PSG may well help us to take the game to the Jawdies in a way we haven't for a while.

We absolutely have to come out from the first minute like a steam train and destroy them.

In an act of appalling scheduling me and Nodge will be on a plane back from Dublin (we were hoping that it would move to Sunday or be an earlier KO), so will be there in spirit(s).

In stark contrast to the usual feeling after a Cup exit I think the place will be bouncing but Newcastle are not far off that so it makes for a decent game. Emery will not relax one iota after last night so the players won't either. I see it being tight and draw would not be the end of the world but the fact that we're at home might tip it our way.

Oh, and whoever scores for us needs to head to the touchline and give it the big 'un to that Cuprinol ******.

Our last 10 games in all competitions WWWWWWWLWW.

We're in form.  We've got a full squad to choose from (I believe).  We have players motivated to do again next season what they all experienced last night.

No one, and I mean no one, will want to face us right now.  Last night's second half will have every opposition team hoping that THAT Villa side doesn't turn up.

It's Unai's job to make sure it does.  Let's batter them, a statement win, and have everyone else worried about whether they can get a Champions League place WITH us, rather than INSTEAD of us.

Cracking post. The manager, players and fans should be well up for these last 8 games (hopefully) of the season. We’re coming down the home straight like a fucking steam train.

Chelsea, Forest et al should be bricking it.

Need to go as strong as possible against them in midfield so I'd be looking at playing all of Onana / Kamara / Tielemans / McGinn.

No idea which attacker you leave out though.

Either the one we bought on last night or the one we started with.....

I feel bad for Eddie, he's a decent man. Hope he makes a full recovery. It will be easier to see us crush a team managed by "JT".
