As a firm believer in sequences I was fearful that a positive result in France would mean the first setback in quite some time on the South Coast. That ship has now sailed so back to winning ways, a much changed side and a boost in the League ahead of Tuesday.

Despite Weds result I still believe we have momentum, there were plenty, including myself who feared a battering in Paris and it could still happen in the second leg but we are facing up to arguably, the best team in Europe in the QF of the CL. No-one really thought we'd get that far and even an exit next week will see us holding our heads high.

We are in the midst, and will continue with a rollocking good finish to the season.

However I知 not sure if I will let my daughter who arranged it know, but I知 in the home stand. She thought she got me an away ticket. I did wonder how that would be possible! I致e got a couple of tickets in the home end as well, they went on general sale last week, I think we should be near the away fans, but we値l be sat on our hands in the game.

Yup, I've made a last-minute decision to do the same. Most of my earliest Villa supporting was from the home end at Highfield Road, so should be a nice easy "quiet supporting" introduction for my seven year old.
