If we lose or draw this then we really need to have a word with ourselves. Batter the ever living fuck out of them and improve the GD

As a firm believer in sequences I was fearful that a positive result in France would mean the first setback in quite some time on the South Coast. That ship has now sailed so back to winning ways, a much changed side and a boost in the League ahead of Tuesday.

Despite Weds result I still believe we have momentum, there were plenty, including myself who feared a battering in Paris and it could still happen in the second leg but we are facing up to arguably, the best team in Europe in the QF of the CL. No-one really thought we'd get that far and even an exit next week will see us holding our heads high.

We are in the midst, and will continue with a rollocking good finish to the season.

1-4

I am more worried about this game than Tuesday night which will take care of
Itself.
Emery has to get a performance from players that will know their selection probably excludes them from starting against PSG.

Southampton have been shyte but we will still have to work hard to get the 3 points. No complacency.

They are fighting for points to avoid being recorded as the 'worst Premier League team ever'. That's a distinction no player wants hanging around their neck.

0-2 to the boys in Claret and Blue.

It’s been a while, a long long while, but I’ll be at the match. A 50th birthday treat from my kids. The tickets came through today. However I’m not sure if I will let my daughter who arranged it know, but I’m in the home stand. She thought she got me an away ticket. I did wonder how that would be possible! Anyway, I still can’t wait, I’ll just have to behave!

UTV!

I’ve got a couple of tickets in the home end as well, they went on general sale last week, I think we should be near the away fans, but we’ll be sat on our hands in the game.

Yup, I've made a last-minute decision to do the same. Most of my earliest Villa supporting was from the home end at Highfield Road, so should be a nice easy "quiet supporting" introduction for my seven year old.

New manager bounce or not, failure to win this one would be the worst result of the season.

Oh without a doubt. For a whole host of reasons, but we got a taste of the level last night we need to get back and winning this is essential to that goal.

You'd never be able to look Jan Bednarek in the eye next time you bump into him in Waitrose Winchester!

Whilst that's true, those players that face it are usually powerless to do much about it which is why they face it.

Archer will have the distinction of playing at two of the worst 5 Prem teams in back to back seasons. (knock us out the top five as well).

If we score I’ll cast an eye round for anyone trying not to grin and then determine if it’s Dave or Bosco!

Hope you have an enjoyable time (and I much better one than when I’ve been to Southampton to watch Villa!).
Fingers crossed Paul and thank you!

I am nervous we will take our eye off the ball just expecting to turn up and win only for Jimmy Case and Glen Cockerill to teach us a lesson.

Good news is neither Mick Channon or Ivan Golac are likely to play tomorrow.

Does anyone know if there are any pubs in Stratford Upon Avon that might be showing this?
