Ok, I’m nervous. Excited. But really nervous.

Although we regularly play Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool and often look a good match, this is an unknown for me.

I can see it being 3-1 or 3-2 to them. I think we’ll win the leg at Villa park though.

Bring it on. I’m 41 and have waited my whole life for this game. Final 8 in the CL… it’s remarkable bearing in mind that a few years ago, we were losing 3-1 to Bristol City at Villa Park.

I don't know how to feel to be honest.  It's only when I looked at the other remaining seven teams that the enormity of our achievement dawned on me. 

The FA Cup semi -final at the end of the month is an exciting prospect, but this is almost in too good to be true territory.

Well here we are.

Getting to the quarter final of the Champions League this season would have been beyond the wildest dreams of, I'd imagine, every Villa fan.

Anything can happen from here on in and knowing Aston Villa FC as we all do, it'll probably will. Hopefully, we can be still in the tie after tonight!
