I'm pretty calm about tonight. Honestly I feel like putting in a decent performance and not getting humiliated and I'd be happy. If the tie is still alive for the home game that's brilliant. Anything beyond this point feels like a bonus. We've every chance of winning this, but just to be here at all is mad!

I can confirm the Bastille and July Column have not been desecrated by Villa flags……so far.

Enjoy the trip! Of course the burning question for all Holte Enders out there is, are you Left Bank or Right Bank?

0-0 HT. 1-2 FT.

Going with this, more in hope than the science, its clear what Uni has to do, PSG attack prowess has to be stopped, Enrique has them exceptionally well groomed, presses them forward in their droves, overloading the opposition, 7 even 8 players around the opposition penalty box trying to get Dembélé through, 2 main pivotal players in the midfield area, very dangerous team, had it not be for the fact Villa are playing them, I would easily tip PSG to win this competition, think if we play this, you to me, me to you, tippy tappy at the back, we will get hammered, for me if we can look to sting them with pace, long ball using Rashford and Watkins to catch them out, this could get us that winner, assuming we can keep them out.

Huge game, would have preferred any other opposition in the CL including Arsenal, than these.

Come on Villa, Draw would be excellent, even a 1-0 loss is not out the ball park, biggest game for many decades.

Here we go

We are in unchartered territory for many of the players however Unai and his staff aren't. I'm sure he will have them well drilled and they will all know what is expected from them. My heart says we can get a draw but my head says we'll lose narrowly. Whatever happens over the two legs it's been a thrilling journey under the Spaniard so far. If we don't make it past PSG it's nothing to be ashamed of given the money they've ploughed into building their squad.  One things for certain, we will be laser focused on the FA cup and finishing in the CL places should we stumble against PSG.

Agree about the FA Cup, that's one we can get, Slot made a pigs ear of this, completely out played by Enrique, have to say though the CL is very very difficult to even qualify for, we need to make sure we give this everything, can't exit this at a whimper, who knows how long it could be again.

Honestly think we've got a decent chance here.  I'm going with a 1-1 draw tonight, shocking the "experts" who are patting us on the head saying how well little ol' Villa have done.

Just imagine a semi against Arsenal, with Unai working around the clock, plotting his revenge...

Unai is the Great Level Upper in this instance. Which is why we are where we are at this stage of the competition.

And I reckon Bayern thought all their Christmases had come at once when they drew Villarreal in the quarter-finals three years ago, just like PSG are now.

Still thinking it'll be a sneaky 0-1 away win. Goal early in the 2nd half and a nervy 30minutes trying to see it out after a first half that gets described as flat.

"On yer prayer mats" I was more nervous for the Preston game as we were expected to win. It's been an Incredicle ride in the Champions League so far and wasn't expecting to make the last eight in our first time of this format.

Emery will be trying to win this match and has a plan to try and win it, gone are the days of going to a decent team and trying to keep the score respectable.
