Bit of nervs now, no-where near the play-off final though...something riding on that.

I'm not sure why I'm feeling strangely optimistic about this. I did fancy us against Forest though.

PSG looked great against Liverpool, in both legs, and really should have beaten them without penalties.  They're a top, top side.

Part of me thinks a draw would be incredible, and even a one-goal deficit isn't too bad, given we'd be back a rocking VP with everything to play for.  I just want to make sure the second-leg doesn't feel like a dead rubber!

Brighton last week was the most nervous I've been before a game for a very long time.

Seriously contemplating taking up religion for the first time. Which one is right?

The one with the most gods. I hear they team up like The Avengers. Probably Hinduism.

Heading out tomorrow. Cannot wait....

I'm going for a 'backs to the wall 0-0' supported by the Emi Martinez show!

I said earlier in the season that to make the quarter finals of the ECL would mean we could rightly claim we are in the top 8 in Europe; and that anything else is a bonus. A pretty impressive achievement.
Enjoy the next 10 days, and if we win the tie ...
... well, happy days!

With our squad now pretty much full strength, the top 5 and FAC are feasible targets.

Yep, been a while since I was this nervous two days before a game.

Not nervous at all.

I have full confidence in the team and Unai.

We're winning away in Paris.

And that is a Smirker guarantee.

I'm not remotely nervous, I think we have a decent chance of going through.

I'm nervous about the first leg. Not because going out at the Quarter Final stage is such a terrifying prospect, but because I really really want to experience all the fun of a Champions League Quarter Final at Villa Park, and it'll be way less fun if we go into the home leg 3-0 down. I think we'll lose 2-1 in Paris, which I think I'd take.

As good as PSG were against Liverpool, they still needed penalties to get through. We'll give them a tougher game than many of the 'experts' think. They'll give Martinez some almighty stick, which hopefully it inspires him to block them out. I'm just hoping the tie is still alive for when we get them to Villa Park.

I'm also praying Arsenal can do Real Madrid, because I'm confident we'd beat Arsenal over two games.

I wouldn't .
We need to be level or ahead coming to B6 .
