Well, you can't say he doesn't get himself in the right positions.

We only struggle against Palace at Selhurst Park.

We've lost one and drawn one of our two Villa Park meetings this season.

The league cup game we genuinely couldn't have cared less about given Cash and Ramsey remained unused subs at 1-2 down.

I think we have to look at it like this. In August people would've ripped your arm off if offered Palace in an FA Cup SF so let's not think there's no way Emery can come up with a gameplan to beat them. One thing we won't be doing would be changing our regular formation to match them up as that obviously didn't work at Selhurst.

Classic Watkins.  The other bloke we inexpeplicably decided to sell earlier in the season would no doubt have tucked both away

Not that it matters today but we have missed some very easy chances, Watkins with two in a minute.

MOTM by a country mile has been Bouba.

Same. Kept the link between midfield and attack running nicely.
Ramsey pushing him for MOTM but agree.

The loss was our reserves. They win at VP against our first team about as often as we win there.

Rashford scored two goals so will obviously get Player of the Match.

Kamara has been immense.  Has he given the ball away today?
