Just saw an interview with their manager, Heckinbottom who said that the players available to Unai , especially our attacking players are simply unbelievable and they will have no idea how we will line up or play until the teamsheet comes out.

That is some advantage to have.

Please don't fuck this up Villa

I hope SUE had them all tucked up in bed an hour earlier last night to compensate for the clocks changing

Regarding the Guardian's deeply-held, diabolical agenda against all things Villa, we are playing the only non-PL club left in the FA Cup. There is a tradition that the media, and 'neutrals' in general, are unofficially on the side of the underdog in this competition. This is what happens. Nobody's against us. We will be fine. If we win 5-0, it will be reported as such. If Preston win, the media and the football world will be delighted, but for them, not against us.

We moan when we're not considered sufficiently 'big', we moan when we're treated as being sufficiently 'big'. Maybe the problem is the moaning rather than the media.
I note that there was a splash article in the Graun this weekend on every quarter finalist bar us. Also seems to be the case for the other broadsheets. Not that I’m getting conspiratorial about it - suspect that that’s how Unai likes it.

Well, I reckon they will score first and make it squeaky bummy (as is the Villa way) but the class will tell and we run out winners. I think.

Have enjoyed the 2 week or so break but will be glad to get my Villa fix today. It’s the start of a fantastic run of games, can’t wait!

Think we’ll make hard work of this today but will sneak through 0-1.

COYL’s!

Someone was letting off fireworks at Barton Grange near the Villa hotel at 3am this morning!

I think we are taking this very seriously and will win comfortably 3:0 or 3:1 to us.

2-0 ip and cruising only to concede in the 87th and then cling on for victory...typical.

From someone who has no chance of ever getting an away ticket !! ..enjoy the day and safe trip for everyone going today, will be great to see a proper away following instead of a couple of thousand shoved in the corner out of sight like in the PL

I’m feeling quite nervous now.

Due to very poor planning I will be on a train and relying on all of you and East Midlands Railway’s Blues wifi to follow what’s going on.

I see Deepdale has a Tom Finney stand and a Bill Shankly stand, now that's showing off!
