Not sure about that. The forum has lost its meteorological expert.

Not so fast, I'm predicting this will be a very cold winter, likely the most severe for well over a decade. There's a chance it may not happen until 2026/27, but it's more likely this year.

Guess work and before Asensio joined but PJ seems to have it correct on the highest paid Turkish player is on about 70k

https://www.capology.com/club/fenerbahce/salaries/

However Fenebache also seem to have the highest revenue of all the turkish teams bar Galatasaray and comes out to about £320mil
It wouldn't surprise me, one of the dads in my kids' year at school is a Fenerbahçe supporter and turns up every day in head-to-toe Fenerbahçe clobber.  His clothing habit is probably bringing in £1m a year on it's own.

I imagine he's looked upon as some rare fashion titan in North Wales!

I’m reassured that we have a worthy successor. You obviously know all sorts of stuff about the weather, BV and that’s good enough for me.

When will winter start, so that we can get the transfer thingy going on here?

Aston Villa are happy to continue with Emiliano Martinez this season despite a move to Manchester United not materialising, and the 33-year-old Argentina goalkeeper not interested in joining the Turkish Super Lig. (Fabrizio Romano, external)

Aston Villa had agreed a deal worth more than Manchester United's offer of £18.1m to sign Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens, but the 23-year-old Belgian snubbed the Villans for a move to Old Trafford. (Mail - subscription required, external)

Seems we were ready to jump for Lammens and offered more.

Did you not watch Emi drop rick after rick last season?

The rugby tackle at Old Trafford
The palming of the ball into his own net at Man City
The gift to PSG

3 that spring to mind. He had a very ropey season last time out.

What, that two minute Twitter video that was doing the rounds? Or you were watching Antwerp matches last season?

Every keeper could have a reel of clangers.
