Hopefully with contract killings.

FTFY

This is why poor Matty is scared to cross the halfway line. 😕

Sad times

How are Fenerbahce doing with the UEFA squad cost ratio? All those "name" players must be on a fair whack to get them to play in the basket case of Turkish football. Maybe their homegrown players are all minimum wage.

I'm hoping Dave (Bath) can answer this, right up his analytical street.

Guess work and before Asensio joined but PJ seems to have it correct on the highest paid Turkish player is on about 70k

https://www.capology.com/club/fenerbahce/salaries/

However Fenebache also seem to have the highest revenue of all the turkish teams bar Galatasaray and comes out to about £320mil

Capology have been a laughing stock for a while with their "guestimates", especially this year.

It's being reported Chelsea have sold Ben Chilwell to themselves (co owned club Strasburg). This gets him off their books and presumably their is a fee involved too, surely this can't be argued as an arms length transaction?

Where we allegedly were advised (thank the Lord) not to pursue Newcastle’s Osula as the powers that be would frown on a cross-competitors transfer.

All this Blue Group shite needs looking at.

Anyone know why we aren’t doing it with Vittoria?

I'm guessing there is nothing to stop that happening, but the money generated wouldn't be allowed to be included in the net spend calculations we are trying to stick to?

I think we should wait until every transfer window has shut before opening the next thread. I, for one, will be nervously checking the news to see if any of our stars have been poached until the Libyan transfer window closes on 25th October.

Better still, let's just wait until the start of meteorological winter on December 1st.

Not sure about that. The forum has lost its meteorological expert.

The Weatherman! I'll never forget that he sold a piano to Hassan Kachloul.

I heard last week we were signing a Scottish wonder kid from Aberdeen named Fletcher Boyd but not seen any confirmation or mentioned on here.

An article by the Daily Record on 2 September states that despite the deal being finalised 24 hours before the transfer deadline, Aston Villa won’t be able to announce the signing of the youngster until the move has been ‘ratified’ by FIFA.

As Boyd is under 18, there is a stricter signing process in play, and this could take four to six weeks for the move to be finalised.
