It's being reported Chelsea have sold Ben Chilwell to themselves (co owned club Strasburg). This gets him off their books and presumably their is a fee involved too, surely this can't be argued as an arms length transaction?

Where we allegedly were advised (thank the Lord) not to pursue Newcastle’s Osula as the powers that be would frown on a cross-competitors transfer.

All this Blue Group shite needs looking at.

Anyone know why we aren’t doing it with Vittoria?

I wonder if back when this thread started anyone would have thrown in Sancho or Lindelöf they’d have survived a second night on H&V without being completely lambasted! :)

Shockingly poor transfer window, lacking ambition, quality, almost laughable if it wasn't so sad, but the most tragic thing of all is we are left with a keeper that doesn't want to play for the club, has been gagging for a move away since the Jan transfer window, then downed tools last night and today we actually have had to endure a complete rogering from the very club this tosser got sent off against and as such helped in the clubs downfall in terms of the Champions league, that is Manchester United, that's the club this keeper has been going cap in hand to, to get away from Villa and go to and guess what, they took great delight in rejecting him.

Tragic and a poor transfer window.

Its a very poor window. Probably the worst since we came back up. Panic buys and only saved by elliot signing.

Other sides have strengthened  so much the gaps goung to be wider than ever i think. Feel like we have gone backwards as a club this summer

We've taken some massive hits since the start of the season, this transfer window was one way of bouncing back, a chance to recover, we didn't grasp the nettle, worst of all when the like of Guehi turns up last night and plays his socks off like a true professional and then gets his move to a club that will now, just about win everything that can be won, I applaud him, in the same breath we have a player that went on strike, left us in the lurch and probably shown Man U what they could be getting, making them think twice, as such he didn't get his move, I also applaud him.

I don’t think Crystal Palace will win everything.

Yes, I knew something was up when the Sky presenters were crying.

The Liverpool fans are probably starting the banner as we speak.

Im sure the PL will find a work around to allow liverpool to sign him.  We'll probably just need to sell another player to make it happen.

Shame for the lad, seems an honest player, anything in the rules say we could go and get him, cheat, bend the rules, ask for VAR to get involved, anything that gets a whiff of corruption going our way.

Apparently they’ll get him for very little in January so aren’t bothered. Hilarious.

Yeah.

That was what made me think people were right about him.

I'm not gonna pile in on him but that was such a bad idea.

Worse than Drinkwater, Samatta, Reina and Baston? Buendia, Bailey, Ings and Digne with Grealish going? Coutinho and Olsen?
