So essentially £10m for Sancho for a season. Grealish is costing Everton £23-24m with loan fee etc, so you can see why we didn't go there.

Elliot is a good signing, and we actually buy him next summer so not developing him for Liverpool, got player of the tournament in the summer too. Could be the silver lining in this terrible window.

I think he's pretty good. Would be happier with an option to buy rather than an obligation but we aren't necessarily in a great position to negotiate. If we did that and get some resolution to our goalkeeping issues today will have gone better than I expected.
