Looks like it. It’s funny debating Pacqueta vs Asensio yesterday and it’s going to be neither. I wonder what the attacking midfielder equivalent to Lindelof is?

He’d probably scored for Oviedo yesterday

Tyrone Mings: “It is for us to stay calm & for us to act as professionally as possible. The players that want to be here, now is the time to stay calm. The window will shut & we will see what players we have here..”
Fuck any players off who don’t want to be here. Maybe if they were able to string together chances last season they would be in the CL.

That's really, really bad to read.

How did we get to this state?

Clearly suggests it's not just Martinez.

How depressing is that?

Very, just another long line in our fuck ups as a club this summer. He’ll inevitably score against us in the Europa League too.

Footballing management at this Club have absolutely stuffed it.

Christian Eriksen is a free agent...

It might be weird to say but this transfer window has made me love the sport a lot less. Last season it felt we were so on the crest of something special. The second half of the especially was mostly just brilliant. And even if things didn’t pan out as we hoped it’s not like we went down. That we needed to strip ourselves of our assets. We got to a cup SF, a CL QF and just missed out on another CL. The summer should have been regrouping and building on that. Taking the next logical steps. Adding a player or two to maintain the momentum. But it’s been a complete disaster. We’ve not been allowed to build. We got into Europe again and instead of that being a good thing it’s been dreadful. Coupled with PSR rules, SCR multiplied the misery. I’m just sick of it right now. Maybe after all this calms down, the window is shut we will get ourselves right. But at this moment the summer window has painted a very bleak outlook on our immediate future.

Yep and feels entirely plausible.

Mings “You don’t know the half of it” when Ramsay left. It’s clearly all fallen apart this summer behind the scenes.

I'll say it again: we've had the summer of a relegated club, not one that's qualified for the Europa League.

But Paul, a few pages back you wrote, “I think it’s a bit of a mad take to say our recruitment hasn’t been up to much - we have an incredibly high hit rate.”

So at the moment we’re signing Lindelof, have missed out on Asensio, and are potentially selling Martinez.

Well if that materialises, it’s really proven our strategy to be solid. Good job all involved.

If those rumours about ramsey being forced to move and he didnt want to go - then monchi needs to resign end of the season

Outrageous
