🚨🟡🔵 Fenerbahçe are closing in on Marco Asensio deal with Paris St Germain.

Agreement at the final stages with player waiting on green light to fly to Turkey. 🇹🇷

This one doesnt bother  me tbh

It bothers me because that is the only transfer I can realistically see us pulling off in the less than 24 hours left.

I thubj even if we had him today wouldnt make  s ingle difference

We need pacey wide players, right back cb and now a keeper.  Monchis totally fucked this window.
We have pacey wide players. We get the ball to them when there's 2 or 3 players around them.

Dont think malen is that quick and guessard dont look too pacy. We need someone  that can seriously  challenge ollie up front. If we had someone i would have dropped him next game as he was shocking

The regulations are making life very difficult for us, I accept, but to be in this much of a mess with hours now, not days, left in the transfer window doesn’t reflect well on anyone. We’re in full on desperation mode and doesn’t feel like we’ve been remotely in control since that deflating afternoon at Mold Trafford.

Yes the regulations are obviously a challenge - but firstly we knew what they were and we’ve had time to do a better job. We look an absolute rabble. Malen is a good example - if he’s a central forward first and wide second why sign him? We desperately need proper width and he does not give that. If he’s a back up striker, then is he the right profile? Feels very different in terms of style.

Maybe when the window shuts tomorrow, players will settle and knuckle down and look like they give a shit. Lots of players can't get the basics right. I still can't believe that Cash is our right back, an honest player that always puts in a shift, but he is not good enough. Looks like are stuck with him for another season..... Watkins and Rogers are not at the races at all this season.

Messy, very messy and you can’t help thinking some (a lot?) of it is self inflicted.

Reading on Twitter that Asensio is going for 7.5 million. Someone wake me up, please.

Yup, if I’m the owners I’m asking serious questions. It has to be strategic progression, if basically everything was predicated on making Champions League then it was always going to be a brick wall.

Wow. You’ve changed your tune. A few weeks ago, when I suggested recruitment had not been great, you responded and I quote your words

“Yeah, I reckon going from a squad which survived immediate relegation back to the Championship on the last day of the season, to being in the QF of the Champions League five years after, that has been some proper shit recruitment.
I mean, honestly, that's a Tim level post. Worse,”

With the attitude I saw today from our players. Sancho will fit right in.

the owners should have been onto Monchi and Vidigany for weeks now. Imagine going into the last 20 hours of the transfer window and you’ve signed one outfield players.

One.

Pathetic.

Seperate whether Emi goes or not. But as we would be paying them a fee anyway, it might as well come off the Emi fee anyway.

He’s fucked up this window. It’s that simple.

And it doesn’t end in a few weeks, it ends in a few hours.
