Paqueta starts for West Ham. Seems they've patched things up, then.

With finances so tight it seems a decent enough option for what is likely to be a 4th choice centre back.

Lindelof is not very inspiring but he'll be back up, he's a free agent and if it enables us bring in others, then fair enough.

All this is great preparation for a game against a team we always beat in six hours time.

Said with all the sincerity of Doug’s ‘it’ll be like a new signing’ mantra when an injured player came back.

I never really warmed to the idea of Paqueta anyway especially at that price.

Yes, no problem with Lindeløf on a free, good player, very pro, does not stand out in games but good positional sense, even might be a bit underrated I think, AND can cover right back.

Not exciting but, y’know, it’s a reserve centre-back.
