The expectations on the new regimes ability in the transfer market have not been met.
Our current best X1 is made up of predominantly (8/11 ) players that were here when They arrived. There has been an awful lot of effort, transfer activity and money spent to pretty much end  up where they started.

I have been expecting this, pity we couldn’t have done a swap for Garnacio,  I wonder which of their misfits they are trying to palm off on us.
Onana- we allready have 1. And don’t need another sub optimal Onana
Sancho- you must be joking
Holland- can’t hit a cows arse with a Banjo, except against us.
Blakey- dangerous in both boxes 🤩
Mainoo- yes but not if we are doing Paqueta.

Hojland has gone to Napoli, so wouldn't be him.

Mainoo wants to leave on loan I gather.

Doesn't seem to offer a lot for £50m, other than a safe bet for a booking.

If we sell Emi now it has to be for obscene money and we have to know we can get that lehmann keeper united were after before we let him go. Him and Bizot would be a solid pair of keeper even if we lose Emi. But united aren't going to pay us the 60-70 million we would want for him.

I didn’t realise Hojland was done, there are lots more misfits to choose from.

I never expected Emi to stay - maybe it's the right time for him, he's had his best season with us - I think he's on the decline.

And he would still be a huge improvement on what Manure have to choose from.

Our current strongest 11 when everyone is fit are still a majority of players signed under Bruce, Smith and Gerrard. The time to blindly follow the currect set up is when their signings make up the majority of a successful starting 11.

I'd rather have you in goal over (their) Onana

Wasn’t last season the best yet? Champions League Quarter Final, Semi-final if FA Cup, decent league table position. We’re two games into this season with a very fractured summer, which is no fault of his.

I suspect it’s BS in an attempt to apply pressure to get their negotiations for Lammens over the line.
