We don't need another central midfielder.
He'll play where Youri has been playing the last couple of games. Then Youri can drop back in his reg position and feed Paqueta

Tina Turner’s less successful follow up single.

There's got to be something better out there.

🚨💣 Understand Aston Villa are closing in on Lucas Paquetá deal with West Ham!

£47m package including loan fee, obligation to buy and add-ons.

Paquetá has accepted #AVFC move, keen on project and ready to join.

Here we go, expected soon. 🇧🇷

I knew there would be one we hadn't even thought of but jesus christmas this wasn't what I was expecting.

Hes a nasty git and we haven't had one of those for years. I assume this means no Marco now. No right back on the horizon  and have missed out center back target. This cant be the only incoming or we are in trouble.

I’d prefer Asensio. Wasn’t it Pacqueta who dived opening day last season?

Who cares about that though, seriously? Why would that even be an issue?

He's a baller who's been playing for a shite team. Man City were after him before the betting fiasco.

I havent really watched much of Paqueta, a quick look on Kumb and they're pretty much unanimously gutted that hes going, which is always a good sign.

🚨🇧🇷 More on Lucas Paquetá. Aston Villa bid for £47m total package on the table with player keen on move.

No final green light to proceed from West Ham at this point as #WHUFC still hope to keep Paquetá.

Potter has requested not to sell the Brazilian while Villa are pushing.

From bbc gossip page citing Telegraph

Aston Villa are looking at a potential £21.25m move for Osasuna and Cameroon centre-back Enzo Boyomo, 23, as manager Unai Emery looks to bolster his defensive ranks
