I'd sell him for Jack money. No less.

That's about £150 million, including inflation.

I can't imagine us selling Rogers*, but if we were to, I think that'd genuinely be the end of it for me**, what would be the point even trying any more?

* - clearly I can, because I just have whilst going on to say what the result would be
** - it probably wouldn't, and that's the depressing thing, we keep coming back for more

I’d be similar - but I genuinely believe there’s no chance we sell him now. Combination of us knowing what it indicates and also no one will pay what we want.

It's Caught Offside

Agreed, they should be on the blacklist. Disasi coming back on loan again would be mental really.

It wouldn't really. We're a right-sided defender short,  he's fine and most importantly we can actually sign him without UEFA screwing us, which makes him pretty unique amongst defenders we could sign.

Because he was already on our A list? Or because he's only on £45k a week?

Some good news would be nice about now, eh?

Still have some hope that is all part of a ruse by us to snag half a dozen quality players at a low low price in the manner of BFR. However, it feels equally if not more likely that it’ll end up with us being left with a small, mid table quality squad. All a bit depressing really.

Both, but primarily the A squad bit.

I've given up. I very much doubt we'd have conceded the goal we did last week with Axel at the back though.

I said this at the start of the window that was genuinely concerned about how things were starting to look. And it’s getting to the end of the window with no real signs it will change. I do expect we will get Asensio over the line but I reckon deadline day might be quite depressing otherwise. And yeh, if we somehow accepted a bid for Rogers I’d be more than fucked off. Because it will be the end of our chances to truly compete at the top end. And as we’ve seen with Spurs a decent manager and some good signings and they will be operating towards the top of the table. And if those clowns at Man U ever get their act together they’ll climb back up there too. We will be fighting for scraps and a conference league place with Brighton, Forest and Fulham.

^^ Didn’t the dream die when we sold Joe?
